Our weekend started with a delicious supper, hosted by our Spanish boarders, to celebrate Hispanic Day. The dining room was decorated with flags and grace was said in Spanish by Elena. We all enjoyed sharing this important day with our Spanish friends.
Sunday morning saw a team of boarders taking part in the Chalke Valley Challenge 3km Fun Run. It was a very damp morning but this didn’t dampen their spirits and the children returned for lunch with competitor’s t-shirts and medals and beaming smiles on their faces! In the afternoon the boarders enjoyed a visit to Hollywood Bowl where there was lots of competition for strikes from both staff and children!
The weekend drew to a close with a delicious Roast Turkey dinner with all the trimmings, followed by a crumble. Yummy!
