The boarders were treated to a weekend of glorious sunshine as the new term got underway. Saturday was spent enjoying the first enrichment activities of the term, followed by games in the afternoon. The swimming pool proved very popular on Saturday evening as the boarders enjoyed a relaxed evening playing with friends and unwinding after a busy start to the term.
On Sunday, the boarders and house staff were joined by Miss North and Mrs Jarvis. Activities included golf and tennis, puddocks (a favourite of Miss North’s), buttercup and daisy chain crafts on the Moor, towel volleyball with water balloons, swimming and ice-creams on the terrace. We are so lucky at FSM to have such wonderful grounds and with such glorious sunshine and not a cloud in the sky last Sunday, the boarders made the very most of our stunning setting.
We are all looking forward to the wonderful summer term ahead!
