After much rehearsal and fiercely contested auditions, parents and pupils packed into the DHH on Wednesday night to find out who would be crowned this year’s winners of FSM’s Got Talent.  The audience were treated to an evening of entertainment, from our youngest girl boarders bravely singing and dancing to our Year 8 girls who did a hilarious sketch, assuming the characters of many of their boy peers.  We also enjoyed an original song, a solo dance, two sketches including one Monty Python, a rap and a beautiful rendition of ‘A Whole New World’.


Whilst votes were cast, the audience were entertained brilliantly by Junior and Senior Rock and then it was the moment of truth.  Second place was awarded to ‘Home Grown’ for their original song before first place was announced – the Year 8 ‘boys’ (aka the Year 8 girls!)

Congratulations to everyone who took part, both in the initial auditions and in the final.  Thank you for a wonderful evening and it confirmed that FSM certainly does have talent!
