What could be more memorable than a trip to a dairy farm to see what actually has to take place to get milk on our cereal?
Our Reception class can now tell you!
The children loved seeing all of the cows and learning about how cows milk is farmed. They enjoyed petting a few of the calves, learning about the different vehicles used to get about on the farm and how cows are actually milked.
The children were surprised as to how gently the machinery whirrs, and enjoyed seeing the milk rushing through a little window in the pipes!
They weren’t so keen about how the farm smelt…
