They say ‘you can’t have too much of a good thing’ and so a different selection of ‘Rowntree’s Randoms’ was organised for our ‘Wicked Wednesday’ this week!
Shuttlecocks were flying around the DHH as the badminton nets came out. In honour of the start of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this weekend, which Mrs Rowntree is incredibly excited about, the boarders enjoyed a dance competition, making up routines to their favourite tracks.
Then it was the turn of some good old-fashioned games, Play Your Cards Right and Bingo! The boarders had lots of fun guessing whether the cards moved higher or lower with free tuck passes on offer for the winners. Meanwhile it was ‘eyes down’ and bingo dabbers at the ready as Mrs Rowntree and Mrs Wells entertained the boarders with their calls of ‘two little ducks, 22’ and ‘dancing queen, 17’!
