LSERSA Summer Series

Last Saturday 23/09/23 was an extraordinary day for young Cameron in Year 3, as he zoomed down the slopes of Chatham in Race 4 of the LSERSA (London & South East Region) Summer Series. He secured a fantastic 2nd place in the male U8s category!

LSERSA Success Cameron

An outstanding achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of his remarkable performance. It takes immense dedication, skill, and determination to compete at such a high level, and Cameron has demonstrated all of these qualities in abundance. Well done, Cameron! Your hard work is truly paying off.

As we approach the final race of this thrilling summer series in October, we’re filled with anticipation for what Cameron will achieve next. With his talent and commitment, there’s no doubt that he’ll continue to shine brightly on the slopes.

However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for our young skiing sensation. In a head-to-head race, Cameron experienced a crash that led to a trip to the Accident & Emergency (A&E). Fortunately, the medical evaluation revealed no broken thumb or fracture, which is a huge relief for Cameron and his supporters. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the slopes soon, stronger than ever.

Even though he couldn’t compete on Sunday in the SnowSports South Summer Series due to his accident, Cameron’s consistent dedication throughout the season has earned him an impressive 2nd place in the male U8s category for the Summer Series overall. This is a testament to his exceptional talent and unwavering commitment.

We are all sending our best wishes and positive vibes to this young skiing sensation as he gears up for the final race of the season. Go, Cameron, go!  We are all so proud of you!
