Yesterday, our Reception class had an unforgettable adventure at The Oceanarium in Bournemouth!
The children were captivated as they embarked on a sensory investigation, exploring the vibrant underwater world and discovering a wide range of incredible creatures. They loved learning about the Angelfish, iguanas, giant pacu fish, and enormous plecos, as well as meeting the playful Asian small-clawed otters, razorfish, and the fascinating African dwarf crocodiles.
The highlight of the trip was watching the giant turtles, black-tipped reef sharks, and Humboldt penguins being fed—an experience that truly brought the animals’ habitats to life.
It was an educational and exciting day, and the children had a fantastic time learning about the wonders of marine life! A huge thank you to The Oceanarium for hosting us and providing such a memorable experience.
