Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Award

This morning marked a significant milestone for both our Year 9 students and our school community. We proudly launched the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award programme, making our students the inaugural group to participate in this prestigious adventure.

The excitement was palpable as Sam Malone and Anya Sterling, Operations Officers for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, delivered an inspiring presentation. Their enthusiasm and insights sparked a wave of anticipation among our students, who are now eager to dive into all the new challenges and experiences.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is renowned for its emphasis on personal development, teamwork, and resilience. With a range of activities from outdoor expeditions to community service and skill-building, it offers our students a unique opportunity to grow beyond the classroom.

As they embark on this journey, our Year 9s will not only explore their interests but also develop valuable life skills. We look forward to witnessing their progress and celebrating their achievements over the coming months. What an adventure lies ahead for our students—one that promises to be as rewarding as it is exciting!
