Prizegiving - Guest Speaker Gary Prout

The event commenced with an inspiring speech by our guest speaker, Gary Prout, an army veteran from Northern Ireland who completed a tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. Now a consultant at Cleartrack, an agency focused on human performance, he shared his experiences and insights on leadership and motivation. Gary was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross in 2010 for his heroic act of saving another soldier during a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan. Earlier in the day, he had conducted a workshop for our Year 7 and 8 students.

We also said goodbyes to two staff members, Mr Andy Boyington and Mrs Sue Smith. Both have been long-serving members of our incredible team, Andy leading our Languages Department and Sue being a crucial member of the Learning Support team. We thanked them so much for all they have done for the school and its pupils over the years.

Prizegiving

The Prizegiving itself was led by our Headmaster, Mr Mark Howe, and the Mayor of Fordingbridge, Mr Peter White, who presented the well-deserved awards to our students.

We cannot express how proud we are of each and every child who has given their very best throughout the year, making FSM a truly special place.
