Our Year 5 Geographers had an action-packed day last Friday (15th September).

Year 5 Geography Trip VR Bournemouth

Year 5 Geography

With a topic called ‘Technology in Geography’, they headed to the VR centre at Bournemouth for sessions that included tours of the Amazon rainforest, kayaking down wild rivers like the Zambezi and visiting famous global landmarks through the wonders of Google Earth. After this, they went for fun and games on Bournemouth beach and a Harry Ramsden’s lunch. On top of the Geography in the morning, the afternoon was a ‘Power Up’ Friday of Forest School fun at Moors Valley Country Park. Team challenges were set with the children showing great initiative and collaboration and they definitely deserved the ice cream at the end of the day. In Boadi’s words, “It is the best trip ever!”
