New Forest
For our Power Up Friday, it was the turn of the Year 3 team to head up to the New Forest for an extended Forest School session. The sun was shining, and the children’s excitement was tangible: they were eager to get stuck in and explore the natural environment upon arrival.
The children quickly set about building, crafting and playing together, and it was a joy to watch as they used their imaginations to create wonderful structures and stories. They also gained invaluable knowledge of nature and wildlife. Unknowingly, they were smashing each of the school’s various learning powers and showing just how capable they were. As the day drew to a close, the children were exhausted yet satisfied, and the teachers were filled with pride.
Well done to the children involved, and a hearty thank you to Mr Hosking for his help and company, for without him, the day would not have been such a success.
