This morning some of the nursery children are enjoying the glorious weather at beach school in Southbourne.
They have been collecting treasures, digging holes, making sandcastles and also mark making with feathers in the wet sand.

Some children wrote their names and some formed different shapes, as they drew smiley faces and love hearts.
They have also been exploring shadows in the sunshine and discussing and using the different language of size. They then enjoyed tracing around each other’s shadows in the sand.
To top of the morning, the children enjoyed a delicious picnic that was put together by our kitchens…..
