Our Reception class have been busy this week.
Inspired by Charlie bringing some tadpoles in to show everyone, they investigated the pond at school and made some paintings in an Impressionist style, looking closely at the water lilies, their form and reflections in the water.
Reception – Monet, They’re Own Take
Claud Monet was of course well known for his Water Lillies painting. The children produced wonderful versions of their own in the idyllic settings of our school grounds, nestles on the edge of the New Forest.
