It’s another memorable year in the making for our champion skier Samuel, who continues to dominate the slopes with amazing success!
After his recent training in Austria, Samuel, in Year 5, travelled to Tignes in France for the annual GB British Children’s Alpine Championship. The first race was the Kombi Race, a flowing speed test on a sweeping Border X course.
Samuels’s training has prepared him well. He won his Under 10 category (16 competitors) in a very close race with a 1 minute 11.73 seconds winning time – 0.1 seconds ahead of the second-place competitor.
With two races to go, there will be more results to follow with the Giant Slalom and Slalom races before the end of the week.

Samuel also gained third place for yesterday’s (06/04/22) GS (Giant Slalom) a short sharp 32.16 second winning time by a local French boy and Samuel was just 0.57 seconds behind for third place.
